BLAME IT ON
PERIOD BRAIN

Many women experience mood swings, mental fog, and forgetfulness during their menstrual cycles yet it's rarely talked about. Period Brain is a campaign dedicated to changing that. my mission is to raise awareness, spark open conversations, and create a supportive space where women can share their experiences without shame.

Through engaging content and a touch of humor, I am transforming a common yet overlooked phenomenon into a movement of empowerment and understanding. Because no one should feel alone in what so many go through.

GOAL

Through a bold advertising campaign, an expressive art direction video, and a creatively designed zine, Blame It on Period Brain turns a commonly dismissed experience into a conversation starter. By embracing humour, relatability, and storytelling, we’re encouraging women to talk about Period Brain openly—without shame, without apology. Because when we understand it, we own it. And when we own it, we empower ourselves and others.

iMPACT

We’ve all had those moments—forgetting why we walked into a room, struggling to focus, or feeling overwhelmed for no reason. Instead of frustration or guilt, what if we could just Blame It on Period Brain? This campaign reclaims and normalizes the cognitive shifts many women experience during their menstrual cycle. This shift not only promotes self-compassion but also encourages workplaces, schools, and society to recognize and support these experiences.
